Solar Navigation Light Upgrade

All American Roads’ Alabama bridges have received upgrades to their navigation lighting. The projects included new surface striping and installation of reflective delineators on the bridges. Additionally, the traditional streetlights were removed from all bridges, where applicable.
In accordance with American Roads’ commitment to reducing its energy dependency, the new fixtures are solar powered LED lights. These areas of Alabama receive an average of over 3,000 hours of sunlight each year making them perfect locations for solar powered equipment.
